Whatyoullbe doing
Youllact as thestrategic learning partnerfor your designated Business Unit owning the end-to-end design and delivery of training and development solutions. This includes:
Leading theLicence to Operate (LTO)strategy and Competent Operator Framework for your business area
Designing and delivering high-quality technical and leadership development programmes
Managing competency assessments developmentcentresand professional reviews
Working closely with senior leadersSMEsand external providers to ensure learning is fit for purpose future-focused and compliant
Ensuring training supports ourOrganisational Delivery Indicators (ODIs) safetyoutcomesand regulatory obligations
Managing learning budgets effectively and delivering value for money
Identifyingemerging risks and capability gaps and proactively developing solutions
RepresentingAnglian Water at industry forums and with awarding and accreditation bodies
Acting as a role model for innovationcollaborationand continuous improvement
This is a visible leadership role whereyoullinfluence at all levels and help shape how operational learning is delivered across Anglian Water.
Whatyoullbring
Youllbe someone who combinesoperational credibilitywithlearningexpertise and who thrives on building strong relationships.
Werelooking for:
Operationalexperience ideally within waterutilitiesor a similar regulated environment
Experiencein training learning and development including competency frameworks
Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders
Experience working with external training providers and accreditation bodies
A solid understanding of regulatory safety and compliance requirements
Project and budget management experience
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) or the willingness to work towards it
A proactive solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience in Leading and Motivating ateam
