Woolpert is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as full-time Trainee Geospatial Editors based in ourJohannesburg office on a 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension based on performance and project needs.

We are committed to developing young talent by providing hands-on experience with cutting-edge geospatial technologies in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Basic geospatial digital map interpretation and editing including daily processing/editing of geospatial data.
  • Evaluate accuracy and efficiency and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry aerial mapping products standards.
  • Assists more experienced technicians with various duties maintenance and other tasks.
  • Responsible for following Quality Management Procedures as designed.
  • Management of individual deadlines based on work tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Matric with Geography is required.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
