Learn more at Neuroscience Data Science & Digital Health team integrates the power of multi-omics digital healthtechnologiesand clinical/real-world evidence (RWE) data to accelerate the delivery of transformational therapies for Neurodegeneration Neuropsychiatry and Ophthalmology. We drive decision-making and breakthroughs from molecular discovery to clinical trials by partnering along the pipeline to ensure that data science & digital health strategies are embedded in every program.

We are seeking a Postdoctoral researcher Omicsto join ourteam.

This positions preferred working location is Beerse Belgium. Alternative locations such as Cambridge MA; Spring House PA United States of America can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Develop andexecuteplansfor the analysis & integration of multi-omics data from patient cohorts and disease modelsfocusedon neurodegeneration particularly Alzheimers diseaseto enable thedata-driven identification and evaluation of novel therapeutic targets patient stratificationapproachesand precision biomarkers

Partner closely withdiscovery scientiststo ensure purposeful interrogation of human omics datasets and translation of data-derived hypotheses into wet lab validation plans.

Build strong relationships withkeyinternaland external partners to help shapeacademiccollaborations and define the scope oftheresearch questions.

Remain current on the constantly evolving landscape of neuroscience omicsbioinformaticsand AI/ML research in search ofinnovative approachesto derivebiological insightsthat could accelerate and prioritize neuroscience drug discovery.

Qualifications

PhD in neuroscience computational biology bioengineering biostatistics ora related fieldcompleted within the past 3 yearsisrequired.

Extensive hands-onexpertisein analyzing andderiving insights from high-dimensional molecular dataparticularly single-cellRNA seq and fluid proteomicsdataisrequired.

Proficiencyin R Python or similar programming languages isrequired.

Proventrack recordof scientific contributions in this field with first author publications isrequired.

Abilityto clearly communicate technical work to a diverse audience isrequired.

Background and experience working in Neurodegenerationisstrongly preferred.

Familiarity with machine learning and innovative AI methodologies is preferred.

This position currently has the option to follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week working on-site and 2 days per week working remotely (no fully remote option available) and canbe located inone of our office locations in either Beerse Belgium or Cambridge MA Spring House PA United States of America. The jobmay require approximately 10%traveldomesticandinternational.
