VillageCaregiving is seeking compassionate Caregivers CNAs and Home Health Aides to join our team in Fort Madison Iowa.

We currently have an opening for 815 hours per week with the potential to grow into additional hours. If youre passionate about helping others and want to be part of a supportive team wed love to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support clients in moving safely and comfortably whether around the home or when accompanying them to appointments and walks.

• Assist clients with personal care hygiene and daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity.

• Help clients complete physical therapy and other non-skilled recommended exercises

• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cant complete on their own including preparing meals

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses doctors and family members

• Report any unusual incidents to nurses doctors and family members

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• Must be respectful and compassionate

• Outstanding communication time management and interpersonal skills

• Physical endurance to complete required tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent
