Material Planner
Based inBudapest
Purpose of the role
As a Material Planner you will ensure the material supply of aircraft maintenance. You will execute and monitor the purchasing process of aircraft spare parts which is initiated based on maintenance plans and ad-hoc requests. You will be in daily contact with vendors warehouses maintenance engineers logistic providers maintenance planners and aviation engineers from all Wizzair maintenance stations and offices in Europe
Responsibilities
- Place and track the orders required for the maintenance events.
- Ensure compliance of the materials with the aviation standards.
- Provide information to the maintenance team regarding the availability of materials.
- Execution of operational procurement and logistics tasks related to material supply.
- Inventory management of spares in accordance with the group policy and goals.
- Master and transactional data management.
Experience
Any experience or few years of experience in supply chain logistics OR aviation
Hard skills
- Knowledge of logistics purchasing processes
- Proficiency in MS Office (advanced level)
- Advanced user level of IT proficiency high level skills in any ERP system and Microsoft Excel
Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- Engineering background (preferred)
Language
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
Skills and competencies
- Ability to work independently with precision and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong collaboration communication and negotiation skills.
- Flexible and creative able to adapt to changing situations and propose innovative solutions.
- Strong team player with the ability to organize and manage tasks effectively
