FMI AZ Intensive Therapist

The Intensive Therapist position exists to provide direct services Focus on the Familys (FOTF) Hope Restored Marriage Intensives. This position also provides non-direct services including oversight of training program and new trainees research writing speaking program/product development and/or committee work. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Conducts a total of 21 direct service units (DSU) of intensive work or enrichment event facilitation per month (1 DSU ½ day)Participates in various clinical team projects and activities outside of Intensive time as assigned by the Site Clinical Director and/or FMI Clinical DirectorDevelops procedures for Marriage Coaches and Follow-up Phone Counseling servicesCoordinates aftercare resources and serves as liaison for the Marriage Coaching programMaintains and administers training programs including online and curriculum components and general awareness of trainees throughout the system and the staffing picture for each siteOversees trainee progress for both internal and external trainees (Act as trainee advisor)Participates in FMI research program (procedure data entry summary and reporting)Coordinates enrichment services including scheduling events training and updating facilitators and facilitating servicesProvides occasional on-call services which includes consultation with registrars regarding registration decisions and is available to help staff manage crisis situationsCreatively contributes to the FMI products such as newsletters participant manuals and/or enrichment eventsMaintains weekly contact with management to discuss prioritization and coordination of work assignments/responsibilitiesProtects the integrity of the FOTF/FMI brand model and cultureParticipates in monthly site Clinical Team meetings Core Clinical Team meetings and Didactic meetingsRegularly attends retreat center staff meetings and events Other Duties/Responsibilities:Performs other duties including but not limited to duties as assigned some of whichmay include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g. print photography film music visual arts etc.) for distribution in all media and formats (such as television radio internet wireless DVD satellite and digital) on a world-wide basis all of which shall be for the benefit of Focus on the FamilyManagerial Breadth/Scope of Job:NoneWorking Environment/Physical Requirements:Office environmentIs available to travel to conduct intensives at Focus/FMI locations This role may require occasional travel including nights and weekendsRegular exposure to intense emotional crisis situationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSCharacter/Spiritual:Exemplifies Ephesians 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always even to the end of the a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Focus; adheres to theStandard of Moral ConductandStatement of Faith; upholds Focus on the Familys ministry in prayerPrays personally for Focus on the Familys staff and constituents and may occasionally lead public prayerEngages in Christian ministryDemonstrates behaviors aligned withFOF core valuesThis role is considered a Spokesperson for Focus on the Family and should represent Focus position and tone at all timesPersonal Characteristics:Punctual dependable responsibleMature and responsiveStrong Christian faith expressed in daily behaviorsWarm kind helpful sensitive and firm or direct phone presence as appropriateWillingness to work in a co-therapy settingKnowledge/Experience:Masters or Doctorate degreeMust be a licensed provider consistent with education and training in the state where employed--LMFT LMSW/LCSW LPC or Licensed Psychologist5 7 years of experience in counselingUnderstands the integrative process as it relates to faith and practiceExtensive grasp of scripture as it relates to counselingIn-depth knowledge of FOF mission philosophy values and objectivesUnderstanding of political social and religious issues that impact the familySkills Abilities and Special Talents/Gifts:Possess good clinical skills (ability to counsel and assist others in resolving problems)Ability to communicate effectively verbally and writtenCompetence in use of PC softwareDemonstrated knowledge of FOF resourcesCounseling skills well integrated with Biblical values and psychological principlesBilingual skills are desirable but not requiredPay Range: $76956 to $88398/yrApplication Materials Required: Cover Letter Resume/CV*Colorado Residents: In any materials you submit you may redact or remove any age-identifying information such as age date of birth or dates of school attendance or graduation.
