Your Role in our Success:

This position will lead the design development and implementation of analytical solutions that support our business objectives. This role will collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.

What Youll be Working On:

• Define and implement the SAP analytics roadmap aligned with enterprise transformation goals.
• Architect hybrid analytics solutions leveraging SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) BTP Datasphere Databricks SAC and Azure.
• Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Lead the development of analytical and planning models in SAC including dashboards stories and value driver trees.
• Design and optimize HANA Calculation Views CDS Views and artifacts for high-performance reporting. Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Oversee integration of SAP ERP/S4HANA data with cloud platforms (Azure Data Lake Databricks) for advanced analytics. Manage replication flows and ETL pipelines using SLT SDI and SAP Data Services.
• Ensure data accuracy security and compliance through analytic privileges and row-level authorizations.
• Establish best practices for performance tuning and optimization across analytics layers. Design data models that are e3fficient scalable and aligned with business needs.
• Develop and maintain complex DAX calculations and measures.
• Optimize data sources and queries for performance and scalability.
• Manage and mentor a team of Power BI developers and analysts.
• Ensure BI best practices are followed regarding data governance security and visualization.
• Collaborate with data engineers database administrators UI/US designers and business units to align data strategies.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and capabilities.
• Stay current with Power BI updates trends and best practices.

Who you are:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
• Ten (10) years experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Five (5) years experience in SAP analytics and dta engineering with expertise in SAC and other SAP analytics tools.
• Three (3) years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query DAX data modeling).
• Strong experience in creating data models measures and complex visualizations.
• Experience leading BI projects and teams including code review and mentoring.
• Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces gateways security setup).
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in S4/HANA preferred
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Services (e.g. Azure SQL Server Synapse Analytics).
  • Familiarity with other visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Qlik).
  • Experience in utilities or similar regulated industries
