Job Description for R&D Solutions Role:
The Physical Verification Solutions Engineer role focuses on validating and optimizing advanced physical verification technologies for cutting-edge semiconductor designs. This position involves executing and analyzing complex verification flowsincluding running large design sets and customer designsto ensure accuracy performance and scalability across hierarchical design environments. The engineer will focus on profiling solutions running leading-edge designs and identifying bottlenecks to drive tool and flow improvements. Responsibilities include close collaboration with design teams product engineering and R&D to ensure verification solutions meet stringent requirements for successful deployment in production design flows. Solutions Engineers apply deep expertise across physical verification domainsincluding DRC LVS Fill and PERC (Parameterized Electrical Rule Check)to enable next-generation verification methodologies for high-performance IC development.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Work experience in VLSI design a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing device physics and modeling.
- A strong background in programming would be a plus as is a strong understanding of IC Design Flow.
- Must be a fast learner and must demonstrate strong aptitude for out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving.
The annual salary range for California is $114800 to $213200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus equity and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
