You will be part of a forward-thinking data product delivery team focused on enabling high-quality finance insights for strategic decision-making. The team works in close partnership with finance and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable data solutions for the asset management business.

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeller with a strong background in Asset Management to join our dynamic data product delivery team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a finance data mart supporting critical reporting and analytics for Funds under Management (FUM) and Revenue Allocation processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with deep understanding of finance operations particularly within the asset management sector.

Key Responsibilities
Data Modelling: Design and develop robust data models to support finance reporting requirements with a particular focus on Funds under Management and Revenue Allocation use cases.
Source-to-Target Mapping: Analyse source systems and define clear mappings to the target data mart ensuring data integrity and consistency across the finance domain.
Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders finance subject matter experts and the development team to translate business requirements into effective data structures.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for data models mapping specifications and data flows to support development testing and ongoing maintenance.
Quality Assurance: Support data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accurate reporting and analytics within the finance data mart.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimisation and enhancement of data models and data processes in alignment with evolving business needs.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Data Modeller within the Asset Management industry with a strong understanding of finance processes.
In-depth knowledge of Funds under Management reporting and Revenue Allocation methodologies.
Demonstrated expertise in data modelling tools and techniques.
Experience with source-to-target mapping including data profiling and transformation logic.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities particularly in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and finance data marts.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional agile delivery team.

Desirable Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Finance Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
Professional certifications in Data Modelling Asset Management or Finance.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture (MS Azure and Databricks).
