Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full-timeMedical Assistantto join our team at PlainfieldCorrectional Facility located in Plainfield Indiana.
Pay Rate Range is $18-$25 per hour depending on experience
The Medical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs implementing orders for diagnostic lab test and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs maintaining and cleaning medical equipment and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Indiana Medical Assistant license/certification
- Minimum of 6 months Lab Experience
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience preferred not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: full-time days
