As the Regional Assistant Director youll help lead daily operations for Head Start Early Head Start and State Child Development programs. Youll supervise Area Managers and content area staff ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and help foster a positive supportive environment for staff and :Bachelors Degree in Child Development Early Childhood Education or related field6 Administration units and 2 Adult Supervision units (or ability to obtain within one year)35 years of program management experience including 2 years supervising staffExperience with Head Start Early Head Start Migrant & Seasonal Head Start and State child care contractsExperience supporting multilingual and multicultural early childhood settingsChild Development Site Supervisor Permit (Program Director Permit required within 2 years)Has a dependable insured transportation and valid California drivers license (mileage reimbursed) and acceptable driving record.
