The Surgery department at St. Mary-Corwin offers a variety of service lines including ENT General Ortho/Spine and Urology. Robotic-assisted total knee and hip replacements are an exciting addition to our orthopedic service line. We have eight ORs three endoscopy suites and a perioperative unit consisting of 23 pre/post beds. We average 45 surgical cases per week and 15 endoscopy cases per day. We strive to maintain safe high-quality care throughout the entire surgical and perioperative experience. Perioperative and operative nursing is an exciting venue of nursing that focuses on the safe preparation procedure and recovery of patients. This requires broad knowledge base critical thinking skills and flexible the surgical and perioperative setting we understand the

We value our incredible Certified Nursing Assistants and want to ensure they practice at the top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. Weve also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

• Six months previous CNA experience preferred
• Ability to read write speak and understand English
• Basic computer skills
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
• State registered CNA license required
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
