Job Summary
The Shipping/Receiving Associate is responsible for performing duties related to the shipping receiving inspecting storing issuing and delivering of materials equipment and supplies. This role involves ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of inventory while maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards.
Job Details
- Position Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)
- Work Location: 23400 Haggerty Rd Farmington Hills MI 48335
- Shift: 2 (3-11 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Process and load orders to complete shipments.
- Operate powered industrial equipment and warehouse machinery as needed.
- Schedule move weigh stock receive and pack inbound and/or outbound warehouse products.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Utilize systems such as JDE RFS and RF technology to manage inventory and ship products.
- Deliver raw materials to the work center as required.
- Assist with maintaining inventory levels and conducting inventory counts.
- Ensure proper labeling packaging and inventory accuracy.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
- Accurately complete all required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S standards.
- Follow all Safety Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical and clerical skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications (Required)
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Powered industrial equipment certification is preferred.
