Role Summary
To assist the Rolling department and Roller operators. To foster a culture of disciplined continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for proper lubrication of equipment designated oil changes and minor machine repair.
Purge and wash down of all machines.
Material handling of WIP tubs.
Staging of material at machine and loading/removing WIP material from parts hopper.
Responsible to report any equipment malfunctions production shortages excessive tool usage or other system failures related to job to supervisor.
Responsible to dump scrap into designated container weigh and fill out scrap ticket to give to supervisor.
Responsible for becoming familiar with machine controls operation adjustments and proper care of machines as outlined in manufacturers manuals.
Responsible for understanding how to operate control panel on assigned machine.
Completes necessary records for production and down time.
Follows work instructions for first piece tickets.
Recording and weighing of production tubs and scrap from all rollers.
Conduct pan checks to ensure product quality.
Clean dies and other tooling.
Assist with setup teardown.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift/move heavy objects
Qualifications
Perform work under direct supervision
