JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our service is to bring assistance with a Consultant in the context of industrial production and on-site installation projects involving piping systems welding activities subcontractor coordination and strict regulatory and quality compliance requirements.
The key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:
Supporting projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress toward objectives:
- Acting as the quality point of contact with the client and participating in inspections and follow-up meetings.
- Following up and supervising subcontractors (assembly welding etc.) from a quality perspective.
Supporting projects through rational and data-driven assessments (quality compliance timelines):
- Following the project quality assurance plan.
- Ensuring full traceability of parts and welds.
- Controlling compliance with applicable construction codes (e.g. ASME IX PED).
- Managing non-conformities and corrective actions.
Supporting projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution:
- Managing technical and quality documentation (WPS/PQR welder qualifications material certificates manufacturing follow-up files etc.).
- Preparing and submitting the final manufacturing dossier (DFF).
Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QAQC welding inspector or equivalent role.
- Solid knowledge of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU).
- Proven experience with construction codes and standards (e.g. ASME VIII Div.1 CODAP ASME IX PED) and welding processes.
- Good understanding of non-destructive testing techniques.
- Proficiency with office software tools (Word Excel).
- Professional working proficiency in French and English for technical documentation.
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
