We are seeking a temporary Clerical person for our Port Hawkesbury office to backfill a short-term leave of absence. This is a client-facing role involving answering phones interacting with clients and contractors (both in-person and by phone) supporting the application process producing tenant-related letters creating and processing work orders office filing and providing general office support.
The ideal candidate is client-service oriented with strong communication skills has completed an office administration program and brings 3 years of related experience.
Tasks
This position requires performing a variety of standardized clerical tasks according to defined methods and procedures with emphasis on accuracy under direct supervision. Duties include:
- Greeting the public and operating the switchboard
- Preparing and filing correspondence
- Supporting the application process and producing tenant-related letters
- Creating and processing work orders
- Ordering supplies for office equipment
- Delivering inter-office mail
- Office filing and general office support
Requirements
- Completion of an office administration program
- 3 years of related experience
- Or equivalent: Grade XI plus related experience or combination of training and experience
- Client-service orientation
- Strong communication skills
