Do you aspire to become an expert in the LEGO Data Platform (LEGO Nexus) champion best practices across the LEGO Group and actively support the development and rollout of our self-service data strategy
We are looking for our next Senior Analytics Engineer to act as an ambassador for the Data Office and a trusted contributor in our product teams within the Data Platform organization! We are happy to talk to both intermediate (3-5 years experience) and senior candidates (5 years experience) about this role.
We do not support relocation financially for this role.
Core Responsibilities
You will join a team of skilled and kind colleagues working to enable data practitioners across the LEGO Group to use our self-service data platform. This includes developing platform components maintaining best practices and helping teams work with data confidently and responsibly.
You will take ownership of initiatives across areas such as data platform adoption data quality improvement data migration and end-user enablement and training collaborating closely with fellow Data Specialists and Engineers.
You will support the creation and evolution of user-facing documentation training materials and best-practice examples that help teams classify protect and share data correctly.
You will engage with internal data teams to ensure their data products meet compliance and quality requirements using a combination of tooling automation and hands-on guidance.
You will contribute to the continuous development of the Data Specialist competency by strengthening cross-team collaboration knowledge sharing and ways of working.
Play your part in our team succeeding
As a Data Specialist in the Data Platform organization you will help design and operationalize the processes and services that make data handling on LEGO Nexus user friendly and compliant by design. Youll collaborate with engineers governance experts and legal & privacy stakeholders to define standards implement automation and create developer-friendly tools and documentation. Your work will enable LEGO teams to manage data responsibly efficiently and confidently.
Our competency team of Data Specialists is split across two locations Billund and Copenhagen in Denmark. We welcome applications for both locations for this role. We work in a hybrid setup 3 days in the office and 2 from home per week.
Do you have what it takes
Ideally you hold a degree in Business Intelligence Data Engineering Business Analysis or similar and have 3 years of experience in a data-focused environment. You have worked with Databricks and/or Power BI supporting self-service analytics and data fluency.
