Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our Mexican operations for a global customer experience and market research firm. This role will oversee all aspects of our business in Mexico including team leadership client engagement financial management compliance business development and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research customer insights or consulting and a proven ability to drive growth and profitability in a competitive landscape.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and profitability targets.
- Oversee research operations data quality and client delivery across multiple sectors.
- Build and lead a high-performing team to include HR Business Development Finance and Operations amongst others fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Manage budgets forecasts and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
- Drive sales and business development efforts to expand market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients partners and government entities. Represent the company in client meetings industry events and regulatory forums.
- Collaborate with global teams to share insights best practices and operational improvements.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Report regularly to global leadership on performance risks and opportunities.
- Execute the responsibilities of a company director according to lawful and ethical standards.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures of the documented Information Security Management system according to ISO 27001 requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Significant experience in market research customer experience or consulting.
- Proven executive leadership experience in managing teams sales operations and compliance in Mexico.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and client service delivery.
- Experience with CX platforms survey tools and data analytics preferred.
- Strategic organization and decision-making skills.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
- Conceptual and strategic capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial behavior; familiarity with digital transformation and technology-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrates responsible ethical and honest behavior in all tasks & responsibilities. Is consistent and fair.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization.
