Project Title:

Optimizing CMP Slurry Utilization: Mass Balance Analysis for Cost Efficiency

Project Objective:

Join our Process Engineering team to tackle one of the most critical challenges in semiconductor manufacturingreducing slurry waste in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP). This project focuses on performing a detailed mass balance analysis of slurry flow across CMP operations to: Identify waste points and quantify slurry losses throughout the process. Analyze cost-of-ownership (CoO) gaps and propose actionable improvements. Develop data-driven insights to optimize slurry usage without compromising wafer quality. Collaborate with engineers and leverage real fab data to recommend sustainable and cost-effective solutions.

Project Outcome:

This internship offers hands-on exposure to advanced CMP processes cost modeling and continuous improvement methodologiesideal for students passionate about semiconductor manufacturing process optimization and sustainability.

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or any other related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

• Ability to coordinate with different people
