Job Summary
Job Title: Process Engineer
Responsibilities:Develop planning and implementing work methods and coordinate the activities of the engineering department; They are the fundamental basis for control and continuous improvement of all production processes using Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering tools. Provides help and assist in all the activities related to the department.
- Plan and implement continuous improvement systems optimizing the use of time and available resources of the department.
- Analyze and design flow and lay out of production processes respecting safety and integrity standards to contribute to the productivity of the company and the well-being of employees.
- Develop initiatives that promote the change of organizational culture (Lean Manufacturing) implementing the Kaizen philosophy and thus achieve a lean manufacturing process.
- Develop and price the operations of new products taking into account the level of complexity and details to impact the profitability of the business.
- Implement and monitor KPIs in the different areas for key decision-making that supports the continuous improvement process.
- Generate and lead Cross Training programs that allow improving the efficiency and flexibility of the company.
- Analyze and determine the capacity of operations and / or areas through time studies
- Implement production control systems that guarantee data integrity
SPECIFIC TASKS:
- Generate Gerber production schedules.
- Generate production and efficiency reports CAD and Embroidery
- Keep the lay out of the plant updated.
- Gather low-efficiency operators.
- Follow-up to cross training programs.
- Generate report of key indicators.
- Follow-up to the skills matrix.
- Operator capacity studies.
Required:
- Industrial engineering
- 5 years in method engineering
- AS 400 ERP system
- Bilingual
