Summary: The Barista is responsible for delivering high-quality coffeebeverages and light food items in a fast-paced hotel environment. This role isguest-facing and plays a key part in creating a welcoming first impression forhotel guests while maintaining speed consistency cleanliness and excellentservice standards.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously providing friendly andefficient service
Prepare espresso-based drinks brewed coffee teas and specialtybeverages according to brand and hotel standards
Prepare and serve grab-and-go food items pastries and lightsnacks
Upsell menu items promotions and retail products whenappropriate
Handle guest questions requests and concerns in a professionalmanner
Monitor product freshness and rotate items following food safetyguidelines
Ensure consistency in taste presentation and portioning
Operate point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
Handle cash credit and room charge transactions responsibly
Balance cash drawer and follow all cash-handling procedures
Maintain a clean organized and fully stocked café and servicearea
Clean coffee machines grinders counters and equipmentthroughout the shift
Restock supplies and notify supervisors of low inventory
Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled
Work collaboratively with food & beverage team members
Adhere to the restaurants policies and procedures including healthsafety sanitation standards and service protocols at all times
Must-Haves:
Previous barista café or quick-service foodexperience preferred
Knowledge of espresso-based drinks brewedcoffee teas and specialty beverages
Knowledge of POS and proper cash/credit handling
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
Customer-centric
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavyobjects.
Ability to work flexible hours includingevenings weekends and holidays.
