The Associate Director Pharmacy Operations will work alongside cross-functional leaders to strategically support team and services through growth opportunities and perform additional pharmacy operation and patient-related service responsibilities as assigned by leadership. The Associate Director ensures pharmacy operations and services provided are done so in compliance with all legal regulatory and policy parameters as well as in cooperation with all other necessary teams and departments.
This position working under the oversight of Pharmacy Services senior leadership will be responsible for a specialty and infusion pharmacy operation that supports various patient and provider-facing services and therapeutic categories. This role will provide daily oversight to referral reimbursement clinical and pharmacy team members onsite while working in collaboration with other pharmacy locations and Biomatrix Centers of Excellence (CoE) teams that support referral services for all therapies that may engage with the pharmacy location.
This position has a strong understanding of all steps within the referral management clinical coordination prescription delivery and refill management processes for multiples lines of specialty and infusion-based therapies overseeing key operational performance metrics at the site level. This individual will support team people and talent development within a given pharmacy location where services are provided and in collaboration with other pharmacy dispensing sites and cross-functional teams within the organization. This Associate Director may also serve as a point of contact for Sales team members to ensure team is prepared to support new referral source and volume growth while meeting the needs of our patient community.
This individual will also be licensed in the state location and will be registered with the Board of Pharmacy for applicable states where the pharmacy serves patients as needed. The Associate Director Pharmacy Operations will assist with the daily operations of pharmacy staff and will primarily oversee those team members responsible for prescription processing clinical assessment drug utilization review prescription verification product labeling and fulfillment in addition to operations and patient-related service responsibilities as assigned by leadership. |
