Job Summary

E-Logic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to supporting Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)s TruData cloud data platform from (US) Department of Transportation (DOT). This role focuses on designing developing and optimizing large-scale data solutions using AWS native data services supporting data ingestion transformation analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue Lake Formation and Data Pipeline
Integrate multi-source high-volume datasets into a unified data platform
Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for performance and scalability
Support data quality validation and analytics initiatives
Collaborate with QA security and architecture teams
Document technical designs data flows and solutions
Support compliance monitoring and audit activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
7 years of database development experience
Strong expertise with Amazon Redshift and cloud data warehouses
Advanced SQL development and optimization skills
Experience working with complex large-scale datasets

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Advanced or Premier Tier Certification (Redshift specialization preferred)
Experience with DynamoDB S3 Kinesis and AWS Data Exchange
Prior experience supporting federal IT environments
