Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Senior Director of Marketing is a strategic and transformational leader responsible for defining and executing an integrated marketing ecosystem that drives brand strength customer engagement and sustainable business growth. This role orchestrates brand trade media CRM and digital strategies across online and offline channels ensuring marketing investments deliver measurable commercial impact and long-term customer value.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Marketing & Customer Strategy Leadership

  • Define and lead enterprise-wide customer and marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives delivering growth profitability and competitive advantage.
  • Translate business strategy into clear marketing priorities roadmaps and execution plans across all customer touchpoints.

2. Brand Communication & Experience Excellence

  • Elevate brand positioning storytelling and customer experience to ensure consistency relevance and emotional connection across digital and in-store journeys.
  • Oversee brand communications campaigns and partnerships to strengthen brand equity and customer trust.

3. Data Insights & Performance-Driven Marketing

  • Leverage customer data analytics and insights to guide decision-making personalize engagement and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Establish clear performance metrics to track marketing effectiveness and continuously optimize strategies.

4. Trade Planning & Commercial Activation

  • Lead the design and execution of trade planning campaigns and promotions that drive traffic conversion and sales uplift while ensuring store simplicity and execution excellence.
  • Partner closely with Merchandising and Operations to align marketing activation with commercial priorities and in-store realities.

5. Omnichannel & Digital Transformation

  • Orchestrate cross-channel marketing including digital CRM social in-store media and mass communication to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Embed marketing technology automation and advanced analytics to modernize processes accelerate performance and enhance agility.

6. Media Partnerships & Revenue Innovation

  • Lead media strategy and data monetization initiatives exploring new partnership and collaboration models to unlock incremental revenue streams.
  • Manage agency and partner ecosystems to maximize impact innovation and ROI.

7. Financial & Investment Management

  • Own marketing budgets with strong financial discipline ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximum return on investment.
  • Balance short-term performance with long-term brand and capability building.

8. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as a strategic partner to Merchandising Operations Supply Chain Digital and Finance teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide change initiatives.

9. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead inspire and develop a high-performing marketing organization with future-ready capabilities in brand strategy digital media analytics and customer engagement.
  • Build a strong leadership bench and foster a culture of accountability innovation and continuous learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing Business Administration Communication Arts or related fields.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing trade promotion or commercial roles with at least 3 years in retail or wholesale businesses.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with a proven track record of delivering high-impact data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in building customer-centric strategies and driving measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional leadership stakeholder management and change leadership capabilities including experience leading large-scale transformation.
