Data Integration Engineer

74Software is growing continuously and modernizing its data landscape to support a new go-to-market strategy and a new generation of products. We are seeking a versatile engineer to join the Information Systems team in a role that bridges the gap between Application Integration and Data Engineering.

In this hybrid position you will work in an international multicultural environment. You will be responsible for connecting enterprise applications while simultaneously designing and maintaining robust data pipelines that power analytics reporting and AI. This is an opportunity to work with both established enterprise systems (Workday Salesforce ServiceNow) and modern cloud-native architectures (Snowflake Airflow dbt).

1. Data Engineering & Pipeline Development

• Develop optimize and manage ELT/ETL data pipelines using SQL Python and dbt.
• Build schedule and monitor data workflows using orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Import data from various applications into the Snowflake-based data warehouse for reporting and data science purposes.
• Explore and participate in projects involving real-time data processing and advanced analytics.

1. Data Modeling & Architecture

• Design and implement data models (e.g. dimensional Data Vault) to support analytical AI and operational needs.
• Contribute to the evolution of the data lake and data warehouse architecture.
• Document data models pipelines and architecture to ensure operational clarity.

1. Integration & Connectivity

• Connect different Information System applications including Workday Salesforce and ServiceNow.
• Manage the technical implementation of data flows using tools such as Axway API Management Amplify Fusion Talend Workday Studio Python and JavaScript.
• Analyze requirements provided by business analysts to write technical specifications for integrations.

1. Operations Quality & Support

• Troubleshoot issues identify root causes and resolve bugs in new or existing implementations.
• Provide level 2 support on implementations.
• Support and enhance data governance security and data quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with business teams and analysts to deliver clean trusted data for BI tools like Power BI.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role involving Application Integration API/ETL Development or Data Engineering.
• Professional working English.

Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Integration: Experience with API or ETL development (Talend or similar).
• Database: Advanced SQL skills for extraction transformation and analysis.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python for scripting and pipeline development or good knowledge of JavaScript/Java.
• Data Modeling: Strong expertise in database design and modeling.

Technical Skills (Preferred/Plus):

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms (BigQuery Redshift) regarding data ingestion and modeling.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Workday (including Workday Studio).
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools: dbt for transformation and Airflow for orchestration.
• Knowledge of Axway API Management or Amplify Fusion.
• Exposure to Power BI Microsoft Fabric or Apache Spark.

Methodology:

• Experience using Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Familiarity with Data Vault methodology.
