Job Summary
Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant for our construction client. This role is critical in supporting project financial management and ensuring compliance within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractor billing and ensure accuracy of invoices.
- Track project costs and assist in budget creation and monitoring.
- Conduct compliance reviews for certified payroll requirements.
- Handle revenue recognition processes in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency with Sage Timberline or similar accounting/project management systems.
- Strong understanding of cost tracking budgeting and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
