Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Residential Low Voltage Technician to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install terminate test and service low-voltage systems
- Read and follow drawings schematics and work orders
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and company standards
- Coordinate with project managers contractors and customers
- Complete job documentation accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in low voltage systems is a plus
- 2 years working with low voltage systems
- Experience with Access Control products Security Systems Cameras and Alarms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds tools and work in various physical environments.
- Previous experience working with security systems such as Genetec or Lenel
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
