MGP Ingredients is a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and food ingredient solutions. Its Distilling Solutions segment provides bourbons whiskeys ryes gins and vodkas to craft and multinational brands. MGPs own Branded Spirits business is growing following the 2021 acquisition of Luxco a top spirits producer bottler supplier and importer. Ingredient Solutions delivers nutritional functional wheat- and pea-based ingredients aligned with consumer trends. The company operates in locations across the Midwestern U.S. and overseas in Northern Ireland and Mexico.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to hire a 1st Shift Custodial Worker to join our Luxco team in St. Louis MO. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing facility with office spaces. Primary duties include cleaning/sanitizing work areas proper disposal and minor maintenance tasks.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Maintain floor cleanliness by sweeping scrubbing mopping and/or waxing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Refill necessary supplies as needed.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of trash into compactor/ dumpster.
- Collect cardboard and plastic film for recycling.
- Safely operate custodial equipment including floor scrubbers vacuums balers and trash compactors.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs overhead.
- Ability to stand walk or bend for extended period.
- Capable of climbing ladders and working from heights.

Includes frequently used office equipment computer software programs manuals books or other written resources hand tools power tools two-way radios and other tools/equipment/resources; Includes use of sanitation equipment and lab/field equipment. Various lab equipment two-way radios will be required to use.
