KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional service and communication with members and guests at all times.
Knowledge of all menu items ingredients preparations and specials; make recommendations based upon preferences special requests or allergies.
Understanding of cocktails wine beer beverages and ability to pair wine to menu items.
Take food and beverage orders and serve numerous members at a time.
Carry a full tray of food.
Enter all transactions accordingly into POS system issue accurate checks and close sales timely and according to policies and procedures.
Set up and break down for service and special events.
Check daily reservations and function sheets for each shift.
Complete daily stocking for opening/closing procedures.
Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work area.
Follow proper food handling procedures per Riverside County Food Handler Cert.
Report to work as scheduled in uniform clocked in and ready to be in position.
Follow Club policies and standard operating procedures.
Communicate with F&B management to ensure member satisfaction.
Greet all members formally by using their surname.
Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to members needs during all interactions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous serving experience in a full-service environment preferably at a fast paced high-end restaurant club or resort.
Current Riverside County Food Handler Card.
General competency with point-of-sale system Jonas experience preferred.
Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
Must be able to communicate effectively with members guests and coworkers.
Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for long periods of time up to 8 hours. As well as sit squat reach bend stoop and twist.
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
Must be able to work outdoors exposure to various weather conditions such as heat cold wind and rain.
Must be outgoing friendly courteous and patient.
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform policies.
Must be familiar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for long periods of time up to 8 hours. As well as sit squat reach bend stoop twist and wipe.
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 25 - 30 lbs.
Physical activities include walking talking standing stooping hearing seeing talking bending reaching fingering feeling touching writing grasping handling stretching balancing pushing pulling and wiping.
Interaction with all types of people
Considerable repetitive motion of hands wrists shoulders and back is required.
Must be able to work outdoors exposure to various weather conditions such as heat cold wind and rain.
Works days nights holidays and/or weekends as required.
Work in a noisy fast paced environment with distraction conditions.
Read and write handwritten notes.
