Our districtconsistsof one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing lessons instructing students with a wide range of abilities assessing student learning collecting and analyzing student data to plan instruction creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment communicating with students parent and multiple stakeholders maintaining accurate records supervising students participating in school improvement initiatives and learning professionally. Start date: Immediate Opening (Immediate Start - February 26)
FTE:0.83467

Contract: Monday - Thursday 7AM-3PM; plus 2 hours for team meeting February 6 2026 and potential for additional time for on-boarding.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota specific content knowledge training or job experience required before appointment and successful student teaching. Must be licensed to teach ages 3-5 years.

Salary & Benefits

Wages: Long-Term Substiute Certified Staff Rate withappropriate Certification from PELSB: $31.19. $23.75/day with short-call substitute license only if newer to the district. $25/hour with short-call substitute license only if worked at least 60 days in certified staff positions during the 24-25 School Year.

Benefits: Available but without district contribution for fully certified teacher if contract days are less than 30; fully certified teachers with assignments longer than 30 days are entitled to District Contribution at theFull-time (1.0 FTE)benefit level. No benefits available with short-call substitute license.Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)will be provided as required by law for either license type.
