Position Overview:
hth companies is an industrial services provider offering mechanical insulation mechanical maintenance scaffolding industrial cleaning and various other services to meet our customers needs across the Midwest. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead daily coordination of maintenance and equipment operations ensuring equipment is staged transported and ready for safe efficient use.
- Repairing and maintaining company equipment and assets including but not limited to: pumps robotic equipment trailers vacuum trucks trucks/tractors etc.
- Move equipment between shops yards and customer sites; plan routes permits and timing to minimize downtime.
- Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment; maintain service calendars and documentation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues (in-shop and in-field) and escalate complex repairs to vendors or OEMs as appropriate.
- Order parts and supplies; manage vendor relationships; verify receipts; control costs; and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts tools and consumables.
- Track organize and maintain all assets (fleet and equipment) including labeling location accuracy utilization and condition.
- Perform regular site visits to audit equipment status support field troubleshooting and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with selection evaluation and purchasing of new/used equipment; participate in specifications inspections and commissioning.
- Maintain documentation in company systems (e.g. work orders service logs inspection results parts usage asset records) with high accuracy.
- Monitor key KPIs (uptime turnaround time cost per hour) and implement improvements to equipment safety reliability and efficiency.
- Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in construction/industrial maintenance or fleet/equipment management.
- Proven hands-on mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment (e.g. pumps high-pressure systems robotic tooling trailers vacuum trucks).
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs work orders and parts/inventory control.
- Strong vendor management and procurement skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

- Strong problem-solving ability; develops practical safe and cost-effective solutions.
- Follows directions of manager / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed.

- Ability to use hand tools power tools lifting devices and related equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Ability to perform inspections of sites vehicles tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform behavioral observations focused on safety and process improvement.
- Ability to follow safety protocol and to report any incident unsafe act or unsafe condition immediately to the site supervisor and safety manager.
- Ability to work in plant-based settings and outdoors in varying weather conditions; ability to travel regularly to job sites.
