The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Government Cybersecurity team as a Deputy Regional Classified Cybersecurity Operations Senior Manager in either Seattle WA; El Segundo CA; Herndon VA; Mesa AZ; Oklahoma City OK; or Richardson TX.

The selected candidate will act as the right-hand leader to the Regional Senior Manager for the West Region. This position provides operational leadership program oversight and team development for a multi-disciplinary team of classified cybersecurity specialists. The deputy will ensure continuity of leadership when the Regional Senior Manager is absent drive mission delivery and serve as a primary succession candidate and bench-strength builder across Boeings regional cyber leadership cadre.

The Deputy Regional Senior Manager will also lead their assigned teams resulting in value-added cybersecurity risk management services to our Government programs classified infrastructures to meet company and business partner objectives and to protect the warfighter.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as acting Regional Senior Manager in the absence of the M-Level leader making timely operational and personnel decisions to sustain mission continuity

  • Lead employees performing information security technical activities in accordance with policy related to the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of classified cybersecurity programs ensuring compliance with customer requirements Boeing standards and applicable regulations (DoD IC NIST etc.)

  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (program management engineering IT legal contracting security) to deliver integrated cyber solutions for classified customers

  • Provide direct leadership mentorship and career development for senior/craft-level classified cybersecurity staff; perform performance reviews and recommend promotions assignments and training

  • Lead workforce planning and bench-building activities for the region: identify high-potential talent develop succession plans and execute targeted development actions

  • Maintain and improve operational readiness: staffing on-call rotations training exercise participation and incident response handoffs for classified environments

  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes technical practices and documentation for classified programs; drive adoption of cyber best practices and lessons learned across the region

  • Support program financial management: assist with budget forecasting resource allocation and cost control for regional cyber efforts

  • Act as liaison to other regional deputies and the M-Level leadership team to align regional priorities share best practices and coordinate cross-region initiatives

  • Represent the region in customer engagements audits program reviews and classified briefings as authorized

  • Assist and lead in the interview and selection process of new employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5) formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • 10 years of experience managing or leading classified program teams

  • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity

  • 5 years of experience with classified systems operations accreditation processes and relevant cybersecurity frameworks (NIST SP 800-series Risk Management Framework etc.)

  • 5 years of experience working with cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM CNSSI 1253 ICD-503 JSIG or NIST SP 800 series

  • 5 years of experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation

  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs

  • Ability to obtain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • Experience with program financial management staffing models and scheduling across multiple programs

  • Experience building a team and developing employees

  • Certifications such as CISSP CISM CCSP Security or equivalent technical certifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in classified and unclassified settings

  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and customers

  • Experience in Project or program management
