Hiring Salary Range:
(based on experience)
Camp Directors: $19.80 - $21.80/hour
Inclusion Counselors: $17.80 - $19.80/hour
Camp Counselors: $16.80 - $17.80/hour
Job Descriptions
Camp Directors Inclusion Counselors and Camp Counselors are responsible for orienting monitoring and leading children through the day-to-day operations of summer camp including the setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies for camp activities. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors be effective communicators with children and adults and possess the ability to transition groups of children effectively. Camp staff are required to enforce rules and regulations ensure attendance and camp records are completed provide first aid as needed maintain equipment and inventory and report/manage discipline problems accidents and other incidents.
Specific responsibilities and minimum requirements for each position are listed below.
Please note that there will be several days of MANDATORY training required of staff during the month of May 2026. These dates will be shared at time of interview.

Physical Requirements:
The work involves direct involvement with day camp participants which typically requires bending crouching stooping standing for long periods of time considerable walking and may require intermittent lifting of objects of a minimum of 25 pounds. The work is performed indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather.
