Job Duties
To effect the procurement of a variety of complex goods and services in a prompt accurate and professional manner. To procure commodities assigned in response to the requirements set forth by the University in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia procurement regulations purchasing quality goods and services in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. To administer contract compliance and to procure quality goods and services in a timely manner at a reasonable cost and in accordance with the University and Commonwealth of Virginia procurement regulations. To ensure procurement transactions are in accordance with the Governing Rules for higher education institutions and the Manual.
Minimum Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in business information sciences engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Experience in state procurement contract negotiations and administration in goods and services. C.P.M. CPCM CPPB or CPPO
