Shively Motors is seeking a highly motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our team in Chambersburg PA! This full-time individual contributor role will provide a hands-on approach to automotive service repair and customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will bring their experience skill and commitment to excellence to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for all types of vehicles
Examine vehicles for hazards defects and wear and tear to identify necessary repairs
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical components on automotive vehicles
Inspect test adjust repair and service vehicles
Perform physical vehicle inspections and repairs on a variety of makes and models
Communicate all findings and required repairs with Service Managers
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to proficiently use hand tools power tools and specialized automotive service and repair equipment
