Were recruiting for Customer Service Consultants to join us in our Group Protection department. In this role youll support the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of Group Protection policies helping us remain a top provider in the market.
Youll enjoy a varied role that combines administrative and processing tasks with regular conversations with colleagues brokers and customers. This hybrid position offers the chance to develop your skills while working in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
What youll be doing:
- Support the onboarding and continued scheme maintenance of Group Protection policies so we remain a top provider
- The tasks are varied meaning youll be talking to colleagues brokers and customers regularly. Its important to note that this role is a hybrid role which will involve administrative work or processing work and you will be talking to customers and brokers on the phone too
- Dealing with all correspondence from our internal and external customers With attention to detail and pace so that the next tasks needed can be completed promptly
- Maintaining and validating large volumes of scheme data using Excel formulas and internal tools to streamline and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure that enquiries and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
- Managing and organising your own work queue to ensure that service levels are met and brokers or direct customers are kept informed of progress
- For our most vulnerable customers youll ensure you consider their circumstances and needs and take additional steps to support them through their interactions with Legal & General
Qualifications :

- Strong communication and administration skills and passion to support customers whatever their personal circumstances. Build relationships with our internal and external customers
- Confidence in using a desktop or laptop and experienced in using MS Office
- Confidence in using Excel is preferred
