DESCRIPTION:
Join an innovative organization in serving science as a Supply Chain Specialist III at Thermo Fisher this essential role youll support operational excellence across our supply chain network while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Youll manage complex supply chain projects optimize inventory levels analyze data to improve performance metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. This position offers the opportunity to implement effective solutions support process improvements and contribute to our operations.

  • Implement and further the CCG Supply Chain Logistics strategy

  • Aligns activities w/ CCG data storage and formatting strategy

  • Own and improve Supply Chain Logistics dashboards

  • Provide data analytics for Supply Chain Logistics critical metrics (On-Time Delivery CCG Fleet KPIs Productivity dashboard performance etc..)

  • Coordinate and track CCG Supply Chain continuity shipment and material reporting

  • Support Transportation Management System implementation data storage and reporting

  • Foster a continuous improvement culture within the Material & Information flows of Thermo Fisher Scientific

  • Provide support across CCG as a data analytics SME


REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience in supply chain management logistics or related field
Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management Business Administration Industrial Engineering or related field
Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM CSCP or equivalent preferred
Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus
Strong expertise in ERP systems (Manhattan SAP Oracle etc.) and advanced planning tools
Advanced proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI Excel SQL)
Proven experience managing cross-functional improvement initiatives and projects
Experience with demand planning inventory optimization and supply chain analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Excellence in written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical medical device) preferred
Experience implementing process improvement methodologies
Proficiency in developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and metrics
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to build consensus and collaborate with stakeholders

Proficient Change Agent capable of redefining and creating repeatable processes where none exist
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
