As a Design Manager (m/w/d) in our Data Centre Construction team you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the design process ensuring client requirements are met technically and economically
- Ensuring compliance with international standards local building codes and industry best practices
- Coordinating between disciplines (Architecture Electrical Mechanical/MEP) and managing stakeholder communication
- Identifying and mitigating design-related risks including supply chain and technical planning issues
- Collaborating with the project management team on budget control and schedule management
- Staying informed of emerging data centre technologies and recommending innovative solutions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships translating their needs into design requirements
Qualifications :
- University degree in Construction Management or related field with minimum 5 years experience in design management
- Experience with Data Centre projects are preferred
- Solid knowledge of Structural Civil Plumbing Mechanical Electrical and Low Voltage scopes of work
- Advanced proficiency in relevant software and reporting tools
- Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated professional with willingness to support other groups and projects when required
- Fluent in German and English
