Design Manager (mwd) Data Centre Construction

As a Design Manager (m/w/d) in our Data Centre Construction team you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the design process ensuring client requirements are met technically and economically
• Ensuring compliance with international standards local building codes and industry best practices
• Coordinating between disciplines (Architecture Electrical Mechanical/MEP) and managing stakeholder communication
• Identifying and mitigating design-related risks including supply chain and technical planning issues
• Collaborating with the project management team on budget control and schedule management
• Staying informed of emerging data centre technologies and recommending innovative solutions
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships translating their needs into design requirements

Qualifications :

• University degree in Construction Management or related field with minimum 5 years experience in design management
• Experience with Data Centre projects are preferred 
• Solid knowledge of Structural Civil Plumbing Mechanical Electrical and Low Voltage scopes of work
• Advanced proficiency in relevant software and reporting tools
• Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team
• Self-motivated professional with willingness to support other groups and projects when required
• Fluent in German and English
