Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for overall operations and business development in the region as well as establishment of new area service centers as to be the Regions principal technical resource and to provide business and managerial direction to the service the source of teamwork for the region and promotes the concept of the overall Company team to the for establishing and meeting region sales and profit objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may beassigned.

  • Responsibleforoveralloperationsandbusinessdevelopmentintheregion.
  • DeveloptheregionprofitplanusingtheRegionManagementCommitteeand periodically review the plan to ensure that the region is on track.
  • Spot-checkand review allproposalsreportsexpenseaccounts job filesand other region documentation.
  • Developproposalsandsigncontractsconsistentwithlimitsofauthority.
  • Providebusinessandmanagerialdirectiontotheservicecenters.
  • Holdregularperiodicmanagementcommitteemeetingstopromoteeffective region communication.
  • Workwiththeregionaloperationsmanagementandmarketingservicesto promote new business.
  • SuperviseagroupofServiceCenter Managers.
  • Performemployeeperformancereviewsandrecommendappropriatesalarychanges.
  • Principaltechnicalresource.
  • Coordinatetechnicaltrainingandassistwithcareerdevelopmentforregionpersonnel.
  • Reviewandrecommendfieldtechnicalproceduresandprocedurechanges1ServiceCenterManager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • GraduateEngineerBSEEorequivalentandtenyearsinrelatedfieldexperience.
  • Requiresahighdegreeofcommunicationsupervisoryorganizationalandgood management skills.
  • Communicateeffectivelywritingandverballywithclientspeersandmanagement.
  • Strong computer skills including editing formatting and using templates in Microsoft Word use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research and operation of computer controlled test equipment.
  • Willingtodosomeovernighttraveltocoverfieldregion.
  • Regularly required to sit stand walk use hands and fingers talk and to sit and work at vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Expectedtoupdatebusinessandmanagerialskillsthroughcontinuingeducation.
