Purpose

This position is responsible for the groundskeeping and custodian duties on the Beloit campus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience is preferred.

• Employment is dependent upon a pre-employment background screening

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions

• Must be able to lift and handle 75 pounds also able to push/pull up to 10-25 lbs. frequently
• Will use hands to handle control or feel objects tools or controls
• Potential/frequent exposure to and use of chemical products
• Frequent use of power tools
• Will occasionally work in extremely hot or extremely cold conditions and movement between hot and cold environments occasionally
• Possible stress due to deadlines

Job Duties

Essential Functions

• General Lawn Care mowing edging landscaping and trimming of trees
• Spraying fertilizing and watering
• General repairs of maintenance & equipment of the sprinkler system.
• Minor repairs in classrooms and offices trash removal cleaning of classrooms offices break areas conference rooms restrooms windows and doors.
• Carpet cleaning floor striping and waxing.
• Set-up and take down of tables and chairs for events.
• Maintenance and repair of custodial equipment.
