Groundskeeper

We are currently taking applications for a Full Time Groundskeeper for a large ranch located on the southwest side of San Saba County working with a two-man crew.

Job Summary
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance safety and overall condition of outdoor grounds and landscaped areas. This role includes routine lawn care landscaping debris removal and minor maintenance tasks to ensure the grounds are clean healthy and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

• Mow edge trim and fertilize lawns
• Plant prune and maintain trees shrubs flowers and other landscaping
• Remove weeds leaves litter and debris from grounds
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers trimmers blowers etc.)
• Perform basic irrigation system checks and adjustments
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers safely following guidelines
• Report damaged equipment unsafe conditions or needed repairs
• Assist with setup and cleanup for outdoor events as needed
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping landscaping or maintenance experience is a plus
• Knowledge of basic lawn care plants and landscaping techniques
• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and machinery
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Physical demands include lifting bending walking and standing for extended periods
