The opportunity

We have an apprenticeship opportunity within our Service Desk team to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank providing specialist property mortgages retail financelendingand savings accounts to a variety of customers.

As a member of theServiceDesk team you will be in a highly visible and customer facing role engaging with colleaguesacross the bank at all levels. The team provide a high success rate of first-time fix so you will need to have an analytical/ well as supporting andmaintainingtheIT serviceenvironment(delivered through a multi-cloud infrastructure) you will have plenty of opportunity for delivering service improvements be an integral part of wider excellent customer service and efficient support is key. This opportunity will provide you with a great introduction into real world IT challenges that a business might face.

Initially thisrolewill be office based 5 days per week with the opportunity for hybrid working aftera period of time.

What is important to us is that you have a passion for all things technology and fixing things when they might go wrong. An understanding of the working of the Windows operating system and Office/O365 will stand you in good stead to exceed in this opportunity. If you have knowledge of how devices are builtconfiguredand managed this will onlybenefityou. Anypreviousexperience in desktop support would beadvantageous but not essential.

What is equally important is that youare able towork effectively both on your own and as part of a team with the ability to work well under pressure. Considering the nature of the role you will need to be an excellent communicator to effectively communicate and problem-solve with a variety of colleagues and senior stakeholders. You will need to be highly organised and task-drivenin order tothrive in this environment.

**Minimum qualification requirement a minimum of3GCSEsincludingMaths & English (Grade C/4 or above).
