Job Summary

Job Description (JD)

  • Maintain accurate accounting records ledgers and journals on a regular basis.
  • Process payments invoices receipts and expense vouchers in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts including bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for financial data and clarifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field (preferably ).
  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance will be an added advantage.
  • Any other relevant professional certification will be a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in school administration or educational institution accounts is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in handling accounts with strong organizational and communication skills.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the double-entry accounting system.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks and MS Excel.
  • Good analytical organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of financial data.
