Job Summary
Friendly Ford is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Monroe this role you will diagnose repair and maintain vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with team members to provide high-quality service and maintain the reputation of Friendly Ford as a trusted automotive service provider.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repairs maintenance and vehicle promise times
- Maintain accurate recording of services performed
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Keep up to date with automotive technology and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently and document detailed repair reports on invoices
- Excellent communication skills
- Michigan state certifications required
- Ford certified and specialty in transmission or engine repair will get top pay.
