Job Summary

Cooperative Home Care is a locally owned and operated company with referral-healthy Home Care & Home Health divisions servicing territories in St. Louis City and County St. Charles County Warren Lincoln Franklin and Jefferson Counties. We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to develop and lead a thriving department that takes referrals and turns them consistently into clients and growth: company car and gas card are provided.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director of Sales ensures that long-term business development and growth are top priorities for this department. The Executive Director of Sales leads departmental strategic planning followed by execution of operational and clinical objectives to achieve annual finance goals. This position provides leadership and management to the sales team to reach individually challenging achievement goals contributing to success of the overall business.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
  • Increase revenue across Skilled Services business line.
  • Increase Skilled Services revenue and gross profit in the community and in ILFs.
  • Develop and leverage relationships to create large-scale long-term quality referral sources for sales team members to pursue.
  • Coach and train sales team to proactively focus on quality opportunities and business leads.
  • Ensure consistent growth in sales revenues through comprehensive sales and marketing plans and deployment and management of sales staff.
  • Assume financial responsibility for profitability of sales department as related to conducting and administering fiscal operations including revenue collection bill rates pay rates planning budgets authorizing expenditure and departmental costs.
  • Ensure successful procedures are in place to have follow up with funding sources (i.e. insurance companies trust officers financial planning institution representatives families managed care companies etc.) to establish documentation and authorization required for payment with assistance from the billing department.
  • Track analyze and report on statistical data to determine trends including inquiries closing ratios and other data to be determined
  • Work with all members of the sales team other departments and all branches on business development to grow revenue and profit in Skilled Services in a collaborative manner.
  • Maintain exceptional client relations with direct consumers as well as administration and staff in independent living and long-term care communities.
  • Addresses client and family concerns and makes recommendations for resolving incidents and
solving problems
  • Arranges for special events and presentations to develop new business.
  • Works with sales team members on calls and presentations coaching and training for success.
  • Assist with interdepartmental cross-training as needed.
  • Ensure delivery of high level of service through oversight establishment of policies and procedures communication evaluation and assessment.
  • Oversee recruitment hiring training and terminations and ensuring complete documentation and compliance of whole Sales staff.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies campaigns promotions and materials including contributing to blogs and monthly newsletter about Skilled Services in general and for individual senior residences.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
  • Four-Year Degree is required.
Qualifications:
  • At least five years sales experience preferred.
  • Management experience in Operations Quality Assurance and Financial Management preferred.
  • Quantifiable experience establishing and cultivating individual relationships to generate and maintain client coverage and satisfaction is required.
