Job Title: Material Handler

Pay rate: $23/hr.

Shift: PM

Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D PSL

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor the Material Handler has the responsibility to ensure all products are received and shipped meet or exceed those standards established by Latitude 36 Foods and its customers.

Required Qualifications

Minimum two years forklift experience.
One-year experience using bar code scanning.
Ability and willingness to follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Desired Qualifications

Minimum formal education: HS Diploma preferred.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Sit-down stand-up and reach forklift certifications preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to work with changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure Safety First is always practiced and observes and adheres to all job safety rules.
Abide by ALL Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ensure warehouse is always in SQF Audit readiness.
Ability to drive the forklifts in a safe manner.
Follow established SOPs for receiving shipping and production.
Able to follow FIFO methodology when selecting product.
Understanding of allergen and organic warehousing regulations.
Able to complete required documentation per SOP.
Utilize RF scanner while performing assigned tasks.
Complete other assignments as requested by leadership.

Physical Responsibilities

Ability to stand for long periods of time with extensive walking and working in refrigerated coolers (32*).
Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more frequently as needed.
