Job Summary
BRSU is seeking a qualified tutor to provide services to a middle school student for 5 hours per week. The tutor is responsible for keeping students current in the provided curriculum and making necessary accommodations and modifications to support student access and demonstration of their skills. Licensure is preferred although not required if an unlicensed candidate presents with strong experience. Struggles are not entirely academic and may require support for emotional needs. One-on-one support is the primary focus. Developing strong relationships is also an integral component of this position. Services are anticipated to begin as virtual delivery with an intention to move to in-person instruction as the student is ready.
