A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is partnering with primary secondary and specialist schools in Finchley to recruit Behaviour Mentors who can provide structured support to pupils with behavioural emotional and social needs.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor in Finchley you will support pupils who struggle with emotional regulation boundaries and behaviour management. Many pupils benefit from predictable routines trusted adult relationships and clear expectations.
You may support pupils within the classroom in withdrawal spaces or during interventions designed to reduce behaviour incidents and improve engagement.
Key Duties
Provide behaviour and emotional support
Support pupils with regulation strategies
Reinforce school expectations and routines
De-escalate challenging situations calmly
Build positive relationships
Support reintegration into lessons
Record behaviour incidents and progress
Ideal Candidate
Experience in behaviour support youth work or care
Resilient patient and emotionally aware
Confident working with challenging pupils
Strong communication skills
