A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is partnering with primary secondary and alternative provision schools in Greenford to recruit Behaviour Mentors who can provide structured consistent support to pupils with behavioural emotional and social needs.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor in Greenford you will support pupils who struggle with emotional regulation behaviour management and engagement with learning. Many pupils benefit from predictable routines clear expectations and positive adult relationships.
Support may be delivered within the classroom in withdrawal spaces or during structured intervention sessions. You will help pupils develop strategies to manage emotions make positive choices and build resilience.
Key Duties
Provide behaviour and emotional support to pupils
Support pupils with regulation strategies and coping skills
Reinforce school expectations and routines
De-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally
Build positive trusting relationships with pupils
Support reintegration into lessons
Record behaviour incidents and monitor progress
Ideal Candidate
Experience in behaviour support youth work care or mentoring
Patient resilient and emotionally aware
Confident working with challenging pupils
Strong communication and teamwork skills
