A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is working with primary secondary and specialist schools in Hendon to recruit Behaviour Mentors who can provide calm consistent support to pupils with behavioural emotional and social needs.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor in Hendon you will support pupils who struggle with emotional regulation boundaries and behaviour management. Many pupils benefit from predictable routines trusted adult relationships and clear expectations.
Support may take place within classrooms intervention spaces or during structured behaviour sessions. Your work will help reduce behaviour incidents and improve engagement with learning.
Key Duties
Provide behaviour and emotional support
Support pupils with regulation strategies
Reinforce expectations and routines
De-escalate challenging situations calmly
Build positive trusting relationships
Support reintegration into lessons
Record incidents and monitor progress
Ideal Candidate
Experience in behaviour support youth work or care
Patient resilient and emotionally aware
Confident supporting challenging behaviour
Strong communication skills
